The Fairtrade Stall will be offering a variety of Third World goods whose sale will greatly enhance the lives of individual producers and families.
6 Sunday    
Day for Life, celebrated yearly by the Catholic Church in England and Wales and focuses this year on mental health. An informative leaflet will be handed out as you leave Mass, which reminds us that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem at some stage in their lives. Let us thank God if we enjoy good health and be generous in our support of those who are not so fortunate.

Sharing Lunch in the Friend's Refectory. Share a simple meal for those who must live simply every day
12 Saturday 12 noon to 5.30 pm
Climate Change Seminar. Examine the facts. Get your questions answered by CAFOD's environmental specialist, Mike Edwards. At st Lawrence's Church, Milton Road, Cambridge. Mass at 6.00 pm. Bring a packed lunch.

Our annual parish barbeque is on the Sunday before the school holidays, this year 13 July 2008, CANCELLED
13 Sunday 6.00 pm To conclude the village's festivities there will be a Songs of Praise Service in St. Mary's. Everyone is very welcome to join in giving thanks to God.
14 Monday 12.30 to 2.00 pm
Study Lunch will be held in the Methodist Church Hall and will be led by Fr. Chris cmf.. This will be the last one before the summer break. Everyone is welcome. Please contact Ann Brittain to confirm numbers for lunch.
16 - 19 Wednesday - Saturday 7.30 pm
Vision. The musical story of Bernadette of Lourdes. A very lively production by the St Ives Youth Theatre at Burgess Hall, St Ives. Tickets £7.50 and £5.00.
17 Thursday 8.00 pm
The Bible Study Group meet in Brampton at to continue exploring The Acts of the Apostles. There is an open invitation to all.
21 Monday 8.00 pm
"Colonial Ladies, Lovely, Lively and Lamentably Loose" - a talk by Judith Dunn from Australia in the conference room. This promises to be a very entertaining evening and everyone is invited. Proceeds to the Church Heating Fund. Refreshments and a raffle.
22 Tuesday 12.45 pm

The next Sharing Lunch will be in the Friends' Refectory. The little we can do can have far-reaching effects for the helpless. Don't fail them.

24 Thursday 7.30 pm
Following last year's successful visit by OCRAS Theatre Group, they will be returning to present "The Government Inspector" by Gogol in the Knot Garden. Tickets £10 (concessions £8) from the office or following weekend Masses. Volunteers are needed to help sell tickets at the gate and with refreshments. If you can help, please contact Mike, Linda or Yvonne on 810344.
26 Saturday 12 noon National Grandparents Pilgrimage to Walsingham on July 2008. Mass at 12 noon followed by picnic lunch. Children's Liturgy 2.30 - 3.00. Funfair and games 3.00 - 5.00. The day will be led by Bishop Michael and will celebrate the pivotal role which grandparents play in family life.
