7 Sunday     It is the responsibility of all parents to ensure that their children receive Religious Instruction. This is provided in St Hugh's every Sunday morning during term time from 9.40am to 10.20am. All children from 5 years upwards should be registered after the 9.00am and 10.30am Masses next Sunday 7 September 2008.

Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage to Walsingham led by Bishop Patrick Lynch. Welcome and Reception of Flags at 11.30 am with Mass at 12 noon. Procession for Benediction to the Priory grounds at 3.15 pm. Last year the Pilgrimage was a reflection of the international and multi-cultural nature of the Church in England at the present time and was very successful. This year, it promises to be even more so.

Michael Chima cmf, Claretian Missionary student from Nigeria, will renew his vows as a religious at a liturgy to be celebrated on Sunday 7 September 2008 at 7.00 pm before going to Spain to continue his studies. Any one who wishes to attend will be very welcome. Refreshments afterwards.

Following the lively discussions generated at the previous meetings, the Discussion Group will have their first quarterly meetings to discuss current issues relating to our beliefs. The meeting will be led by Fr Paul on the topic "Humanae Vitae- 40 years on". Everyone welcome.
14 Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm
Heritage Day 2008. Buckden Towers will be open to public. The Friends of Buckden Towers will provide teas and tours (small charge). There will be plants for sale and Bring and Buy produce stall. Contributions of fruit and vegetables most welcome. Entrance free.

Farewell Mass for Fathers John & Paul followed by a last chance to sample Fr Paul's punch!
16 Tuesday 12.45 pm
Sharing Lunch in the Friends' Refectory. Come and share a simple meal for the benefit of those who must live simply every day.

CWL Meeting on the subject of Belize. All ladies welcome.
